IELTS Examiner Opportunity – Work in India!

2016 is off to an exciting start and it’s about to get even more exciting for IELTS and English-language professionals with an itch to work abroad for 6-12 months!

IDP Education is growing as an organization and the IELTS continues its global growth in candidature and in the number of organizations that choose to recognize the test.

As a proud co-owner of the IELTS, we are committed to ensuring accessibility of the test around the world in order to ensure candidates can take a test when they need it.

In the last year, we’ve seen furious growth in the number of test-takers in India, and as such we are excited to share an exciting opportunity to existing IELTS examiners and English-language professionals who would like to become IELTS examiners.

IDP is currently looking for current speaking examiners who are willing to work in India for 6-12 months to join our IDP IELTS family. Travel and accommodations will be paid for by IDP and the primary locations are Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana and may include other locations according to business needs.

Not an IELTS Examiner yet?  Fear not, there’s an opportunity for you as well! In addition to existing IELTS examiners, IDP is also looking to provide training to individuals who meet the requirements for being an IELTS examiner:

  • An undergraduate degree or qualification(s) that can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate degree;
  • A TEFL/TESOL qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Substantial relevant teaching experience, the majority which must relate to adult students (16 years and over).

In this case, training will take place in Canada prior to working in India The primary locations remain the same as mentioned above and travel and accommodations will also be paid for by IDP.
