The centre is closed on Saturday and Sunday and all statutory holidays.
When selecting “City” be sure to select “Hamilton @ Mohawk College”. Do NOT upload a photo, directions for sending your passport photos are below.
Step 1- Apply Online
– Apply online using the “Book Now” button on the Test dates tab.
– Please note that the online system asks for photos but we do NOT require you to upload or send any photos.
Step 2- Complete Online Payment/ Upload Identification
Following your booking, please proved payment for your test online using the link below. Following your payment, a copy of your receipt will be emailed to you.
Please upload your passport (both photo and signature page) or Canadian Permanent Resident Card to complete your application.

On a monthly basis, Mohawk College will host a series of two complimentary workshops featuring prep information, each workshop featuring two of the IELTS skills (Listening and Reading/Speaking and Writing). Registration is required for the event.

The Official IELTS Test Centre at Mohawk College is situated within its Fennell Campus in Hamilton,Ontario. Set amidst major highway routes, and also easily accessible via public transportation, the IELTS test centre is conveniently located to serve nearby localities of Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, Oakville, Mississauga, Brantford, Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, as well as other major cities in Southern Ontario.
Founded in 1967, Mohawk College is fully accredited and funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, and is also a member of the Association of Community Colleges of Canada (ACCC). The IELTS test centre at Mohawk College administers both the Academic and General version of the test.
Test registrations are accepted online, by regular mail or in person. IELTS centre staff at Mohawk College assists potential IELTS candidates in completing paper or on-line application forms, and also in answering questions on the format of the test.
